If the season where to end today this is how everything would shake out. Both Indianapolis Colts and the San Diego Chargers would receive a bye in the AFC. The Denver Broncos and New England Patriots would match up and the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals would play wild card weekend. On the NFC side both the New Orleans Saints and the Minnesota Vikings would earn a bye. The Dallas Cowboys would match up against the Philadelphia Eagles and the Green Bay Packers would face the Arizona Cardinals.
With a ton of 7-7 teams in the AFC and a very close NFC the only thing for certain is it should be an awesome finish to the NFL season.
